Connie Hagen

As a survivor of many traumatic circumstances, I was a Licensed Professional Counselor who worked with women recovering from trauma for ten years in private practice. Through my ministry, I have cultivated a unique ability to connect with women who have experienced suffering, loss, brokenness, grief, and shame.

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Evangel University and my Masters of Education in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of North Texas. I obtained my LPC License and specialized in post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety in women.

In 2004, I made the decision to devote myself to my growing family, Christopher, Tori, and Maddie, and my husband, Jeff. My husband left a large Ob/Gyn Medical Group in the DFW area to establish a private practice in the small town of Bastrop, Texas. For the next fifteen years, I dedicated myself to raising my children and managing my husband's medical practice. Our shared vision to provide medical care to the underserved and economically disadvantaged was a natural progression of my passion to serve women in need.

I recently became an ordained minister through Christ for the Nations and currently serve as Director of the Women's Ministry at my local church, where I teach and speak regularly.
